I read something on here like pick off the interesting parts of her reply and go from there. I want to like jump to a whole different topic. I'm not sure if this makes any sense or not. =X lol

I read somewhere that you want to acknowledge whatever was just said to you but then move in to the new topic dont just jump straight into it. Cant think of a good example right now but hopefully you get my meaning. Basicly you want to try and transition form one topic to another smoothly and do it so she realises you are paying attention. If you can link the current topic and the new one then great if not just say something on the topic but then move it along. Still dont take my advice i'm sure someone will pop up with some golden stuff! At least clearer anyway

HBS: "We came in 5th in all of Canada!"
PUA: "Really? WOW! You guy's are pretty bad! You're probably about as good as I was back in elementary school! I was a lot more into music though, how about you? Do you have any musical talent?"
All you do, is put a link in between the two topics. It can be one that you make up, or it can be something they said, that reminds you of something else. _________________ "The 'Brick Walls' are there to allow you to prove how badly you want something!" ~ Randy Pausch
