The op said he is basically a homebody. He surfs the internet, watches tv, reads (underrated). You guys projected this image of the world of war craft guy from south park onto a dude that I just see as kind of a homebody.
Who projected that image on the OP?

The responses he got:
Quote:
hahahaha, "too mature" seriously. Anyway, i am not a expert, but it is true, do activities you dont like is sucks. I think you have to try something you like, in my dance classes the majority is old people, so too mature sounds like a random excuse. Maybe cooking, yoga, etc... the message is: do fucking something, dont be lazy. Nobody likes lazy people.

Well, even if you dont have an attractive lifestyle, you can still go out to a club or during the day, and charm a woman into bed. However, if you're a boring person and all you do is stay at home, not many women are going to want to do that. Some do, but not most attractive women want to be with someone that they can fuck and go on the computer.

It's not about OWNING things, going to lavish dinner parties, or travelling - its the mindset, the way you feel towards yourself that he's specifically referring to.

Lifestyle helps with keeping em around... (if that is your choice)

I take home girls from clubs just by being cheeky only on the same night, they don't even ask me what I do for a living...
I can quote more, but the point is, the OP CLEARLY got understanding, no one pushed him to go out, no one ridiculed his lifestyle. Where on earth are were you seeing this negative projection?

In fact, please read the thread again. OP was the one who started projecting:
Quote:
I can't fit into the modern young society here. Far too degenerate. Stupid half-shave haircuts, bum beards, ugly cars, iphones, sports fanatics, homosexual clothes, stupid baby techno music. (Can it even be called music?). I could fit in had I been born earlier, but right now the trends are so stupid I can't fit in. I see some of these fucking bearded cretins and I don't even want to stand next to them. I don't even want to be reminded of them.

So I feel fine, it's just I sense these young women will get "tired" of me. But that's their fault, following every trend like subhumans.
So, if youre saying people projected some weirdo stereotype on the guy, thats untrue. People told him do what he likes, be happy with himself, but that staying watching tv and the computer, is not a life most girls would want to share LONG TERM. Thats so far from this false premise thing you mention. Or some kind of push to change his lifestyle.

The OP projected a VERY NEGATIVE FALSE SCOURNFUL stereotype on others.
Quote:
See, that's the problem. The arrogance and assumptions made about people who don't join the cult.
Well the OP's comments were the arrogant and assuming ones for people he saw as "degenerates." Its funny that you see a guy close minded to SOCIETY, yet call people who tell him "it is what it is and it depends on what you're looking for" ..."arrogant."
Quote:
So neo, part of the problem is the creation of a false premise. All he has to add to the equation is going out and learning the foundations of pickup. Yeah, the dude has to go meet women. But the whole lifestyle thing, constant self improvement and other bullshit is for men who are so afraid of being labeled weird for just sarging they build this hobby up to something more than it is.
Again, no one was labelling OP as weird when you came in negatively. One guy, Mr.A, came the closest to what you describe with
Quote:
Well grandpa, find yourself a woman that is also a hermit crab and you will be just fine in the long term. You don't need to do much to bang a chick.
and even then he told the guy if he's talking about banging it doesnt matter. The other comments, no one used any terms to put down the OP's lifestyle. So you see 1 out of 10 commentors to say we are making assumptions? Where is this cult?

In fact, it was only when the OP described society in such hateful, unrealistic terms that myself and others started questioning and making assumptions. I dont know about you, but theres a diff between someone being a homebody, and projecting disdain for strangers and seeing homosexuals and degenerates everywhere. Either OP is living in sodom and gomorrah or hes showing signs of mental illness. Maybe you see this kind of disdain for "cretins" in the street as healthy, I cant imagine it is. Regardless, the comments towards his lifestyle being negatively influenced ONLY came AFTER his Eliot Rodgers rant.

I dont think you realize how much irony is in your words. I'm not a lifestyle advocate; heck, Ive told guys here that PU may not be what will help them. And I cant say I saw any pushes to make OP feel afraid of being called weird here. If you're going to talk about arrogance and assumptions, what about the guy saying he's seeing degenerates everywhere? If you're gonna talk about pseudo, your advice is no different from what he was being told by many posters, ie he can still bang chicks regardless of how long he watches tv a day. And if you're gonna talk about cult, at least have people here pushing something on the OP.

haha I love when someone makes a comment and just gets buried like this and then the usual brief stubborn conjecture 'You are just a bunch of Nazi's n a cult'

My country needs a new Prime Minister

NeoNazi get's my vote

I keep seeing on this forum, the suggestion to have an "attractive" lifestyle.
I read the book Models by Mark Manson, I like it, the part where he mentions honesty.

Honestly, the things I like to do aren't "attractive" - whatever that means. All in all, I think "attractive" lifestyles are superficial, hyped-up bullshit.
I mean, if you like things that are considered "attractive", then fine.

The point is, I feel you should do whatever YOU LIKE - whether it is "attractive" or not.
I tried a couple of "attractive" activities, didn't like them. Doing them for the sake of improving my chances with girls, I feel is supplicancy.
Besides, if you keep doing activities you don't like, they will just cause you grief.

I'll be honest. I like sitting around at home. Fooling around on the computer, TV, reading, whatever. I'm like a grandpa. I don't need to do any wakeboarding, motorcycling, etc.
I feel I am too mature for all that. When I was 10, yes I would have jumped at the opportunity. But now, it just doesn't make me feel excited. Don't have any desire for it.
I'm 23 and I feel like I already experienced all there was to experience, and "what the world has to offer" ain't that exciting. I do exercise and go to college. But the rest is sitting around at home.

So is there something wrong with this mentality or what? Will I be turned down by a woman for this?

LMAO too mature for all that? What the fuck are you gonna do dude? Sit around and wait for cancer to get you?

I'm going down on a god damn Harley. Not sitting on the Internet. Too mature for all that? Do realize there's a reason old dude start doing cool shit when they get old? Cause they finally realize they are going to FUCKING DIE someday and sitting around the house isn't the way to spend life.

And bro..... No girl is gonna find anything "sexy" about a 23 year old grandpa. You should be at the peak of your wildness right now.

FUCK MAN! You're 23?! I was snorting *insert illicit substance* out of a strippers belly button on Tuesday nights at 23! I'd kill to be 23 again! Get out of your house!
