Hey guys, I just wanted to ask what you think is a good colour to put in your hair or how to style it. I got spiked hair but I want to make it stand out more, any tips on a good way to colour it?

Cheers

I found that red gets a lot of responses. Bright red, not just kinda red. If you do raven black, with bright shiney red, it gets a lot of attention and looks awesome when you do it up. Back when I had hair, I used to dye mine black, red and gold. Got more attention than I knew how to handle back then.

General rule is don't have hair that's lighter than your skin color.

Look how super tan skin + platinum looks terrible.

This is also why people who generally have brown skin shouldn't go blonde.

I've actually did a spray on hair color combination of white and blue. I did white on the bottom, and let it dry then put blue on my tips. I got alot of attention. Girls would ask what was the reason for it, I would explain how my hair reflects my personality. Fun, laidback, and smooth XD

My recommendation is analyze yourself and come up with a color set that reflects who you are. If your a fun outgoing person, fuck it; I'd use a black base and pink tips. Its all your discretion.

Black with pink tips would be pretty killer too.

I suggest you stick to your natural color. Guys who dye their hair need a consistent style that goes with odd hair dying colors. But if you're a rocker...do it!

Aviator I really don't agree with the "consistand hair style" theory. As long as you do something with your hair, it doesn't matter what color it is. Just make sure the clothes and shoes you wear compliment your hair. I had a friend in high school who used to dye his hair shock green, and do liberty spikes or he would mowhawk it. It doesnt matter what you do, it doesn't matter what color your hair is. Just do something with it, or wear some form of hat.
