Curious about this as well. I always feel like breasturant waitresses are pretty much out of reach not because they're that much hotter than a waitress at Chili's or Friday's(some aren't), but because of the "pageant mode" mentality the job puts them in. Wave to the adoring fans, you're the main attraction, etc. My rule of thumb is look at the menu and the pictures on the walls. If they advertise the girls, you're only getting wings, but if they advertise the wings, you might get the girls.

My only goal when I enter venues in my city is to get chummy chummy with the hired guns. Next time I bring my date around, they will be like "hiiiii Mr. A"

I had a good friend who worked at Hooters and she would tell me about some of the customers who would hit on her, etc. I believe the ones she was the most receptive to were the ones who were good looking and friendly. What I mean by that is they didn't do anything douchey or rude that stood out to her. She was already walking around half-dressed, (and a lot of these waitresses do feel self-conscious about it, no matter how hot they are), so if a man oogled at her, tried to touch her inappropriately, or said something sexual, she found that to be creepy. So don't do that.

Treat them like human beings, and pretend like they're not half-dressed. That might help to get you in the right mindset of how to speak to them.

Well others like hot servers or bartenders as well, not just party girls. The reason i ask is that i would think these girls are always getting hit on.
