I know these haters are always around. I was never bothered with their comments. I stumble across some stuff they have written today. I was actually going through some threads on bodybuilding forum. I can sum up some of their points:

1. PUA tactics are weird, canned, unnatural.
2. Looks, social status and money are more important.
3. PUAs don't get proper results in their videos.

IMO there's nothing wrong to start with canned material. As a guy becomes more confident in cold approaching women, he would develop some sort of natural game i.e knowing what to say/how to respond in certain situation. I don't think PUAs are social robots. Most PUAs on youtube talk off the top of their head while doing approaches.

PUA does tend to undermine the importance of looks and social status a little bit. It is beneficial to someone who has just started pick up. It sort of removes their limiting beliefs, so they can fly higher. It is just my opinion. I think everything counts. An average-looking guy with solid game can destroy a good-looking guy with poor game. If both guys have the same level of game, the better looking one would get the girl. Well, there are always exception. Tyler Durden has so many different tactics to fuck another guy up. It wouldn't surprise me if he can steal a girl from Leonardo DiCaprio (young DiCaprio with present status).

PUAs on youtube are very honest. They don't mind showing their failures to people. Well, pick up is a numbers game. No matter how attractive you are, you don't get 100%.

p.s. I think spending time on bodybuilding and developing an attractive lifestyle is as important as polishing one's pickup skills.

I remember last year I was at a music festival with a couple of female friends. One was my fuck buddy. Anyway, I step away for two minutes to grab some drinks and these two dudes approach.
They literally open with some "do you have anything else other than your looks going for yourselves?" attempt of a neg I presume. First dude, I shit you not, runs the cube on one girl and the other goes for ESP or whatever the fuck it's called, asking my fuck buddy to pick a number between 1 and 4. Now this is a smart girl, and she chooses 1.5. The guy obviously guess 3 and when she tells him the actual number his face is priceless. Meanwhile I burst into laughter and ask him if he wants me to wing him or if I should just amog myself to make him look better.

See this is the thing. This is why people hate PUA. The girls even texted me while I was getting the beers to help shoo these guys away. These dudes has no charisma. No charm. They were like those little RSD rape-bots.
And it's so fucking cringeworthy to witness, I don't even wanna know what these girls had to feel actually having to be part of it.

And sadly enough, the picture I painted here is exactly the image people outside of the community have on PUA. And for good reason, because in past years that is exactly what it was. Of late it evolved in a completely new direction, which is generally what you see the consecrated members of this forum teach.

This. Most PUA's are weird and terrible. Its a simple fact; in the community only a small percentage of guys actually do it well.

PUA theory, with its various tactics, stages, lines, etc. is just neediness disguised.

I always had problems in believing guys who dressed like a gay Santa in order to pick up girls. I had problems in believing in special techniques to flirt and build rapport.
Push/pull, DHV stories (especially fake ones), time constraints, cubes, ESPs and the shitload of concepts that were created and almost elevated the simple thing of picking up a girl into a rocket science. Even Einstein wouldn't understand a single fuck.

I always do the same shit with girls (wether I want them or not), before the LTR in which I am: teasing (or flirting), saying whatever that comes to my mind that I find self-amusing (often times, the girls laugh, wether I talk about sex or anything else) and building an emotional connection (talking about things that I like, such as music, travel destinies and places where I'd like to live). If I want to fuck them, I kino-escalate. If not, I don't.


I find weird and cock-blocking when I see guys dividing the picking up of a girl into 3/9 phases, every phase should be done through a special routine and whatever, it's all god damn unnatural.

And really, doing cold approaches really were elevated into Stephen Hawking's black holes theory. Open by asking opinions and other psycho-crap, what the fuck? Isn't a simple hi good enough? Or even a simple situational opener, such as when you see a girl running in a treadmill: "hey, you're running for 30 minutes, but you're always in the same place!", isn't this way easier?


There's so much shit about pick up told by PUAs, so much plans that a guy to remember all of them must approach girls with all the theory appointed in a paper or something.

Its the in-direct game bull shit a lot of PUA's do is the problem, which is annoying and overly complex.

Not especially... The legion of guys clawing girls at the bar is annoying as well. In fact I've heard more annoyance at the direct puas than the indirect ones. Don't forget that plowing and being aggressive is a direct game trait and its way more annoying than the guy who tries to run a cube.

Canned material is weird in my opinion and it never, ever, EVER works like the script says it's meant to.

You get better at talking to women by just doing it. Even without coaching or anything, just by trial and error, and it doesn't even take much effort. 99.9% of the battle is destroying mental blocks like shitty confidence, anxiety etc. If you are confident and feel comfortable chatting to women it should come naturally.
