So I was browsing through my friends facebook (similar to mySpace) photos, and I came across a picture with him and a girl which I recognized from grade-school. I found her interesing back then since I remembered her, shes an interesting gal This was 16 years ago. lol. We are both univeristy graduates and she is persuing her masters. It be good to at least make a friend.

So I messaged her saying:

SimpleShock: Browsing through some friends photos. Found a familiar face. Small world. Hah..
Her: Hey, I cant believe you recognized me, I haven't seen you in ages!

I was thinking of responding with "Guess I had a thing for you then ", or "My taste in women has not changed much since gradeSchool, ". Anything I should add to escelate? Be more cocky? "Some trouble makers I just remember". The statements are based on truth. I am new to online sarging.

"Wow, what a troublemaker you were back then! I hope you've gotten over that stuff, but you probably still have your moments. Look, I'm going to the mall with friends on Thursday you should tag along so we can catch up."

Fill in the underline portions with whatever you like. She obviously feels some comfort with you already so why not go ahead and try to escalate. If she says No you can say well me and my friends will have fun. A varient I do of this is...."I'm going to my favorite restaurant/coffee shop/bar/ on Thursday, you want to tag along?" The idea is you are going to be there having fun regardless of her response. Also, she gets to "Tag along" in your world, you aren't making a special time for her like when you go on a "date."

That sounds like a perfect line. I messaged her with a lame respone, as it did not get a respose back. I like your approach, I would have to broden my social life for that to take place. Need to start being more sociable.
