This question is not just relative to game but life in general. Self help book authors often mention that we are good at judging others accurately but have no idea what we are like ourselves. But they never say what to do about it. Does any one have any good ideas on how to find out what your own bad traits are?

a bad personality trait. for example some people are annoying but they don't know they are, some people are angry all the time, some people bitch a lot ...etc

Why do you want to find out?

Your bad traits tend to be the negative things you notice in other people. You can only recognize that which you are, or what you have the potentially to be.

But why do you want to find out?


Also, people will point them out to you. Now don't just take everything you hear as an attribution of yourself. It could just be them. But if you hear something 3 times from 3 different people.. Listen.

Some people are very annoying and they obviously don't know they are or they would stop. No one wants to tell them they are annoying to their face because they don't want the confrontation. I want to make sure I am not in that situation.

I want to find out to become a better person.

Just observe the mid section and tail end of fwb/relationships with women you actually wanted to keep around.

Usually it's a needy/clingy/too available/over-texting/loss of freedom/forcing things soup.

Have you tried meditating before? It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least for me, I can self-reflect and reconnect with my deepest purpose in life, i.e. with whatever it is that drives my passions. That, in turn, carries into every interaction.

Personal growth is a lifelong venture, especially if your goal is beyond personality development -- i.e. the identification, pursuit, and accomplishment of your deepest sense of self, of that which drives you to commit and take relentless action.

The kind of confidence, peace, and acceptance you exude from self-actualization cannot be easily emulated.
