I have read a bit on texting etc but at the minute i just suck with the escalation i think i need to get in the correct frame for texting so if anybody can give me any links or help for that to understand it a little that would be great.


Anyway met a girl at a club got her number texted her a bit met her last Sunday but only had an hour to see her but that went really well she was really into me. Continued texting her and i just felt like my texts sucked and they weren't escalating anything so i was ready to cut my losses and just sent a last text saying basically saying I'll be around this weekend i want to go to 'place' come meet me.

Wasn't sure if i would get a reply but i guess I had done enough at the actual date for her to stay interested. Her last line is "I'll try and clear my assignments in time to see you!" I don't see it as her being flakey because the first time i met her i was at football and she messaged me 3times in the space of that cancelling our first date then saying no wait ignore that i can still see you i have cleared time up. Just she is in her final year at uni and has a lot of deadlines so i believe that so that isn't a problem.

My question is really is i would like to see the different perspectives of how you guys would reply to that, mainly the 'try'. Should i just reply with Yeah no bother just let me know if you are free because i am busy this weekend anyway so it isnt a loss and i don't care if i lose this girl so in that mindset i am fine i just need help with my frame for texting in general i think.

Man...usually when I text women. I try and have about 5 girls to text...I mean you could text her back to see whats up again and see if she cancels on a date, but all in all try and have more options in your phone. Most girls go nowhere..but I guess its also how I look at things to..
