I know her from a few conversations at work and we made out before but don't know eachother that well. She wants the dreaded movie first date. She also wants to meet at 9pm as she is busy I don't eventhink we will make it.

So tell her you don't do movie first dates. Explain why they're bad.

"Yeah I only go on movie dates with girls I already have something with, who I've already gotten to know. I mean, you're cool, but I'd rather do something where we can get to know each other. Not like, sit awkwardly next to each other like a couple of fifteen year olds haha"

And tell her you can't do that time. Suggest another time.

I named her a cinema and time so feel awkward changing plans now. I'd rather go for drinks but how do I mention it to her now

Quit over analyzing the situation. Women aren't fragile little china dolls, they're people.

In fact, you can tell her this:

"I Initially said we could do the movie date because I wanted to agree with you so you wouldn't dislike me. But thinking about it now, I really hate movie dates for X reason and X reason. I'd rather go to have drinks at X place so I can get to know you better, etc etc."

Quit putting her thoughts on a pedestal
