So I don't like dick pics in general. They're almost always stupid. For one, tons of guys do it, and that alone should tell you it's a bad idea to send one.

Anyway, I realized very quickly that dick pics are a thing. I was feeling fun one day, and after getting this girl's number I decided to send her a dick pic.

I got a piece of paper and a pen, and drew a cartoon dick. Then I wrote "ANOTHER DICK PIC!" above it.

I held it at my pants, and took a picture of the drawing.

First I sent a message:

"Oh my bad I almost forgot! I need to send you a dick pic now. I mean that's like a thing right?"

Then sent her the photo.

She loved it. All girls love it. It always gets a wonderful reaction.

Most importantly, it gets you into the door of a sexual conversation. It sets you apart from guys who are loading her up with AFC rapey bullshit, so she automatically wants to talk to you. You hit her funny bone, you made a culturally relevant joke. It's great.

I've only had ONE negative reaction from that picture. And it was some girl who must have had a stick lodged up her ass sideways. She texted back "I do NOT find phallic jokes funny!" She went on about something, who cares, next.

On a more serious note, when it comes to actual dick pics. . .

I very rarely send them to girls I haven't fucked. I do send them, though. The only three times I'll send a dick pic: If the girl requests one (very rare but it does happen, and I'll always demand one of her), if sexual escalation over the phone is happening, and I get some nudes from her, I'll send a dick pic. Finally, I'll send ones to girls I've already fucked. Usually upon request, but sometimes it's nice to send one to someone you sleep with.

Well read. My take on "The Dick Pic":

It's a general rule not to send the dick pic to women you haven't banged. Some guys send dick pic thinking that would get the woman attracted and would want to go to bed with them. This comes from a neediness frame and it's unattractive.

I do however agree with your 3 reasons why you'd send a dick pic.

I have to disagree with your use of "never." There's definitely a time and a place for dick pics, at least as far as I've noticed.

I generally refrain from them, but they do help keep the sexual momentum going before sex.

If you don't have any phone game, I highly suggest never sending them, ever.

But if you have it down pretty well, there's a time and a place.

Maybe, but then again if you do have high phone game, you don't really need them, do you?

R.C., I'd agree with you that you usually wouldn't need them. I like to send them when sexting is happening and it's going to be a few days before we can meet. Some girls like a visual. The typical transaction for me is about like this:
