So just last night, i went out to a rave for night game. I manage to social proof with tons of guys but no girls.... I befriended about 10 guys there as groups. Approached around 7 girls and got rejected all 7 times.... but the very first approach was different. I approached her and said "want to dance?" She said "how old are you? I think im a little too old for you" I said "idk you guess". Then i asks for her age and she said 19. Note: im 3 years younger than her. I said wanna dance? She hesitated and didnt answer. I said "you look like you're 12 anyways"(shes very short) in response to "im a full grown women".(19) Then i grinded on her lightly and she went along. Her friend dragged her to a drink. I seen her again later that night and said "awee do u miss me?" She said " lol no".
She guessed i was 15.

But for other girls, i just asked, wanna dance and got a no

So was she interested at all? Since she did let me grind on her lightly? Where did i fuck up?

Also would my approaches and chance of getting the girl be better i opened differently? Such as "awe where your friends?" To single sets. And then escalate from their rather than "want to dance.

"Wanna dance?" = telegraphing interest. Have her be interested in you before showing off interest.

Hmm, what openers would you recommend during a chaotic high energy area? (Loud music clubs)

Don't know much about club gaming, so can't help you here. Go through the literature, try a couple of fun openers you like. For instance "You look like you're too shy to ask a guy out. Come on, I'll help you" (points at an ugly nerd with big glasses) "This dude's the perfect match for you, come, I'll introduce you!". Say it with a joking smile, when you point the guy out have your arm around her.

Or go for a direct opener, but don't ask permission like in you "wanna dance?" Something like "I saw you from over there, you're very cute so I wanted to talk to you. What's your name? What's special about you?" Say it in a way that shows that you don't expect anything from her.

By the way, your "do you miss me" sounded needy. Remember the cat's string theory: don't chase the girl, let her chase you.

Also, don't take it as gospel, but from what I remember of those days girls in their teens have a big prejudice against younger lads. If you don't have a tight game the girl is going to eww you once she realizes you're younger. It gets better when you reach the twenties (I had a couple of GF 5 years older than me), but for now I'd say do something like a 80%/20% ratio of gaming with girl your age / older. And enjoy dating teens while you legally can

No offense but you will have significant difficulty if you're 16 and gaming girls older than yourself.

Be relaxed, have fun. In this case you should have just held out your hand and waited for her to grab it after dancing next to her. At least it seemed you had fun. You need to match the energy, let them see you, make EYE contact, smile, and then invite them using body language.
