Okay so I'm a law student at uni however this is generally received as boring when I'm on the pull, what can I say I am/do that is more exciting and plausible?

First don't lie about what you do it's incongruent and it will bite you in the ass one way or another.

Second you're feeling it's boring so they are perceiving it as such. Women are mirrors. Own your shit and be proud of it. I once seduced a woman by jokingly telling her that I wanted to be a garbage collector. I said it in such a manner that I was 100% sold it would be the raddest thing on the planet. Guess what? She bought into my frame even though she knew I wasn't being serious. Why? Read what I said about mirrors.

Third you don't have to be so factual. Women love chasing down something they are curious about. You can just give a mysterious overview of what you do.

Even if you do tell her straight out your planned career, come on man you're in law school. It shouldn't be that hard to convey to women.

I get that honesty it always the best approach, I'm just lost as to what to say about what I do, I know I should be passionate about it but after all the essays I find I'm hating it more by the day, il give it a try man, to specify though I was mainly on about nightclub approaches compared to slow game, I obviously know that a long term lie would be highly stupid, I'm just a bit in over my head at the moment trying to perfect my game and tweak every area to utmost efficiency

It's what you PLAN to do and your potential that you should be putting across. Tip: Think big.

This confirms what I said about "you're feeling it's boring so they are perceiving it as such. Women are mirrors."

Be creative. Really the girl doesn't give a shit about what we do. She cares how we make her feel.

Alot of this is just simple social skills. When you go for a job interview in law, if asked why you want the job, you better have some bs planned for saying why you're passionate about it. So just as a basic adult/professional, you should always be able to make your job sound interesting to you; at the very least for job interviews. On a deeper level, if you dont like it, maybe you should consider changing fields if you dont still connect to it. You should be passionate about what you do. You should have the basic skills for interviews and networking to explain whats great about your studies or your career. So before thinking about what some chick at a bar thinks, focus on yourself and doing what makes you happy, or at least be able to describe it passionately because when you interview for a job, thats gonna be important. Put women last, and fix the situation for the right/IMPORTANT reasons.

I'm an accountancy student, you think yours is boring? Lol. It's only a problem if you make it one.

A. Yeah, chicks hate guys with a perceived, locked in financial future.

B. Uni girls don't care, it's just something to talk about til you get to the fucky sucky part.

cheers for all the reply's guys, the main reason I'm doing law is because it's the family trade, it's what's expected of me. I'm fine for interviews around it I just never thought to approach talking to a girl in the same way...

That's a whole other can of worms.

You do not sound like you enjoy this profession so far, at all.

You only live once. Dare to do what will make you content in your heart.

The answer I've found to work the best to the "what is it you do" question is simple... "Business"... with a cheeky smirk on your face.

Then direct the conversation back to her.

Another great response is something like "oh, I work scrubbing the floors in aldi" in a way that you're obviously joking.

Of course, as a man, you should really be excelling in your career and lifestyle in all directions, but answering like this on initial meetings seems to get me a lot of IOI's. Later on if I get to know her enough I might reveal a little more to her if I feel it's necessary.
