Hi all. I've been a single Dad now for 18+ months after my wife of 15 yrs left me for a neighbour. In that time i've recovered from a serious stressed induced illness & in doing so sorted myself out mentally. I've tried the internet dating game a bit but soooo boring! I'm gonna do that rookie challenge of smiling & saying 'Hi' this weekend. Really looking forward to re-entering the game after becoming quite reclusive. I just see this as improving another 'under-used' part of me. I've always stammered & 20 yrs ago could hardly order a drink in a pub. After all the dramas i've been through; it can't be that hard..................can it??!!

Crippling reality of LTRs, and why I will almost always avoid one. Almost everyone here has a similar background.

Just go outside and do things and be around ppl. Helps to have other focuses besides women.
