I have a real problem with tools/AMOGs. And I'm not talking about idiot douches looking for a fight, or jealous dudes trying to cockblock. I'm talking about the alphas who always make fun of people, without even realizing it. Like if you do something stupid, they will laugh at you, and because all the other betas are laughing, you look like an idiot.

Like I remember one time where I had a cup full of food and a cup full of water, and I grabbed the wrong cup, and this guy pointed it out, and everyone starting laughing at me. I tried to laugh it off so as to not look stupid, but people could tell that it bothered me and I looked like a fool.

Anyone know what I mean? Alphas who always tool/AMOG guys (even their friends), and they're so good at it, that they don't even look bad at all doing it? I try to act indifferent, but it just doesn't work, and when I try to outwit him, it either comes back in my face or I say something stupid and/or appear timid.

I would like some insight on this. Thanks in advance.

You're a weak person. You have a weak character. People can see this and you become a target.

Go out and do something that builds character.

You have to be GENUINELY unconcerned about it. How would you behave if you knew that in the next year all of your goals and dreams were absolutely going to come true. Would you pay any mind to some wisecrackz. How would you carry yourself. It's about demeanor. A guy says "look at him he took the wrong cup". Your demeanor is that you are your own man, others are playing a role in your world, they are simply unable to phase you.

You've got to put in the work to improve the way you feel about yourself first and everything naturally flows from that. Here is the cool thing: The more you do that, the less you hear anyone tryna tool.

Guys fuck with each other like that. Take it with a smile and fuck with them back. Have fun and dont take things so seriously.

About 5 minutes ago I was looking in another direction and slammed my foot in the edge of a desk by the watercooler. Hurts like a god damn motherfucker. The entire office started laughing hysterically and me along side them.

I think the point of view you're looking at this from is whats doing the most damage to you. Putting out your food and drink in a cup is not at all a big deal. I'm sure they're just having fun, and you become an easy target when you so easily get bent out of shape.

8 times out of 10, when someone makes fun of you its not done with malicious intent. They're just having fun. Especially something as silly as the cup and food thing you pointed out.

Theres something called tough skin, and one way to develop it is to get out there and put yourself in uncomfortable situations and get rejected as the original purpose of this forum would suggest. You're playing life way too safe if you're letting little things like this bother you.

Alas sometimes you have to give a shit or people see you as having weak character and a push over. When that happens others see you as an easy target.

In the op's case it's no big deal but sometimes some guys are just such tools they have a malicious agenda hidden behind a plausible deniability if you take umbrage to their piss taking.

In cases like this it's typically one individual in particular that is being a 'bully'.

The worst types are the one's who get jealous when you're successfully gaming a hottie they had their eye on but didn't have the balls to approach. It's a duel stratagy of trying to "out alpha" you to the girl as if they're "the man" but also putting you down so you don't score regardless if the girl doesn't take to their alpha oneupmanship.

Very true. Especially easy to deal with since in the woman's eyes you are actually 'the man' because you were the one with the balls to approach. It boils down to being unphased. Those who are not participating in a value exchange with you are COMPLETELY, 100% IRRELEVANT.

See, the problem is that I can't tell. The tool is laughing, and everyone else is laughing, but I can't tell if it's good natured or if he's honestly fucking with me just to be a dick. It's hard to tell at times.
