Hello guys and girls
I'll be honest in admitting that i have very little experience with this forum (aside from a bit of lurking), or the PUA community in general. In fact before a few months ago, I gave very little thought to this entire aspect of 'dating'.
I am currently about to do my Honors in writing, and came up with the idea of looking at PUA's.

More specifically the differences and similarities between conventional pick up artist techniques and that of sites like The Red Pill or The Manosphere.
I was also going to look at sites like PUAHate, until i realized that it has been taken down.
Simply put, while i am avidly reading and utilizing any advice i can find from this site, my main goal is to understand the idiosyncrasies that make this community.

If anyone thinks they can help me out, be it explaining how they find this community different to all others, or which other sites i should research... or anything really... please message me.

Welcome. I'm sure there will be those here who will be happy to talk to you. In all honesty there has been a lot written about the community as well as news specials and other things. If you have some specific questions you'd like to ask feel free to post them up.

There are lots of different people, experiences, personalities, methods, philosophy's on life, sex, dating, marriage, and other things all coming together. Obviously the people here are around because they feel they can benefit from obtaining knowledge here or enjoy giving back to the community from which they gained things. There are guys here that have barely talked to women to guys who are masters at meeting and attracting people. Some guys are here to get some help with a particular girl or situation, others are just trying to get better in general, yet others are out to bag as many women as they can. It all varies. Look around the forum and you'll get a good idea about us. If you have questions feel free to post them up.
