I have noticed a recurring theme in some of my pickups with the hottest girls, I get them to my place and I get LMR, and I haven't been able to overcome it like I have been able to in the past. There have been around 10 girls in the past couple years that I've failed to close on LMR... And then nothing happened. I have succeeded in overcoming LMR before with regularly. However I believe something has changed in my dating behavior that has caused more LMR than I'd like:

1. I noticed that I have started to pay for more dates... Positioning myself as more of a provider than a pure short term lover.

2. I also feel that I am not nearly as "edgy" as I was before- I am now in a high paying job in finance. The girls I've been dating seem to want me as a boyfriend rather than a fuck buddy. This, they become more focused toward withholding sex from me, while still showing interest.


A couple times I definitely could have pushed harder. In one instance a girl told me she flat out "would not have sex with me tongiht" before inviting me to her apartment. She was very in to me, and was all over me that night, but she wouldn't let me push things further. I am not sure what I could have done different in this circumstance.

How can I cultivate an edgier vibe while maintaining a classy job?
What are things I can do to push through LMR when it arises, specifically?
This sticking point has caused me to lose more than a few quality girls, I don't want to lose any more.

I have witnessed that if girls think you are wealthy, you're likely to cause more LMR and things will turn very much into a date dynamic. Perhaps you can be more modest with things? Especially cut down the dinner dates and all that malarkey for a simple no frills drink in like a pub or something.

Here is my take on with LMR and girls wanting to be around you for that matter:

My take on LMR is that you will lose a lot of girls that is out of your control like LMR. Keep at it and you will seal the deal. It's a numbers game at 1st.

The advanced answer in my opinion is that you have to deeply mean it to your core that you don't care if the girl walks or not...in a sense. You have to be truly detached from the outcome. THAT is when you will get resistance free sex.

Back in the day. I would be getting chicks back but the whole time I was having this needy intense feeling that I'm about to get laid nut then the girls will smell it on me and repel them.

Look at it this way. It was once said by veteran of the 2nd world war- What made him competent at soldiering, was that he accepted that he was already dead. That way, the intense pressure is off on trying to stay alive. Then ironically, it probably did a lot of good for his mindset and to making the right choices and he survived the war as a good soldier. Whilst all his comrades were concentrating on staying alive and being hesitant and even making grave mistakes as a result.

Now take this back to girls...when I got a girl coming back in tow, my mind is already decided that she will probably resist and I will get LMR and it will fail. So basically I have already failed and took the pressure away from the sex. (Then it happens) - I guess it is a little pessimistic but this helped me out big time.

I still get LMR though, but near on the same level as I used to. (Your stage) - this is one of those things where you just have to deal with it till you overcome 'the dip'. Fight the frustration and then you will evolve and reach another level in my experience.

Girls will be able to sense this about you. It is powerful to be talking to a girl and they can just sense that you really don't care TRULY about the outcome. That is the next level. But you have to earn it I guess and put in the reps like you already are...keep at it. It will happen.
