Hey guys I just came back to the game after a year of relationship with an amazing girl and I'm so surprised how many things changed in me: many good things, but also bad things and the latter ones are all game related.
My body language and my kino escalation got worse since I wasn't practicing it, but what really bothers me is that I've got approach anxhiety again.

I'm reading the books I read a long time ago and am trying to put together a general structure of game that I can use to get back picking up girls as I did one year ago (once completed I'll post it on the forum so that everyone will have access to it). Of course, I'm practicing infield as much as I can, but with fairly bad success when compared to what I could do before...

Just wanted to know how those who were in my situation got back into the game and how much time it took them.

It's all in your head.

I was out of the game for 3 years and took me about 3 nights to get back into the swing of things. I have friends that seem to think you're back to zero. But like i said, it's all in your head.

If you think it will take 3 nights to get back into the grove or if you think it will take 2 years to get back into the groove, you're both usually right either way.

thats a self fulfilling prophecy for ya

Agree with dragula!

It's normal to be out of shape if it's a long time you're away from pickup. The thing you need to do is to create a program and stick to it. Start going out consistently, at least 2 times per week, then with time you will increase the number.

The thing you have to do is face your fear, and facing it over and over till you get familiar with it.
I know it's not easy, especially for someone who is not playing for a long time, but there is no quick way.
Good luck!

So you were in a relationship that made you less of a man after spending time going out and meeting a ton of girls? Why would a man with options choose to be in such a shitty relationship?

I think you need to reconsider what you're "learning" here before you go out and do the same fucking thing you just did to yourself.

Just keep exercising the emotional muscles man.

Its normal to be a little stale when you first come out of a relationship. If you don't work out for a year you won't be able to lift as much as you were lifting when you were working out consistently. You have to build back strength and stamina. Its one of the reasons you should always have some level of flirty interaction with women even while you're in a relationship. It keeps you sharp not only for yourself, but for your girlfriend as well.

Just keep approaching and you'll build back a strength even greater than you had before the relationship.
