I'd hit the roof if a girl said that to me. Seriously. I wouldn't text her back, I'd call her and ask her all the things you just asked us. Also I would be very very firm and clear about what you want, and don't accept any compromise from her, if she doesn't agree finish it with her. Harsh maybe, but that's my 2 cents bro.

OP, don't make the mistake that most guys would make and ignore this because it's not what you want to hear. It's exactly what I was about to say. It's quite direct for a woman, though - they're normally like "wouldn't it be weird if we had an open relationship" then they'll bring it up, lol (it hasn't happened to me, I just know women..)

If I would have a serious LTR. I don't think I would have a problem if she sleeps with other men as long as it doesn't give me problems. If I want it, why can't she have it? As well as I have my needs and fantasies about sleeping with other women, she too has her secret needs and fantasies about sleeping with other men.

Or isn't that alfa male thinking? Men are hunters; it's natural for men to sleep with other women. And women crave to be at the side of her man she admires in a monogamous relationship, where she can prosper as a women. So the man is permitted to fool around, and the women is not. I even heard it's better for a man to still sleep with other women in a relationship, because he is the alfa male and does what he wants. It keeps the fire going.

Or should you simply stay both monogamous in a serious LTR.

I think people should do whatever the fuck they want regardless of what society thinks they should do.

I hate to mention guru names, but Adam Lyons, in a relationship with 2 girls at the same time. I'm sure people see it as a bad thing but he's doing what he wants, so fair play to that. Maybe it's a bad idea, maybe it isn't, but he is making it work, he's even had a kid with one of them.
