Today, I'm going to share with you my GOLDEN RULE OF TEXTING (it's not what you think).

If you're having trouble getting girls to respond, or having them flake out from dates, this is going to make it more likely that she'll meet up with you again.

Now, who is this advice good for?

For those keyboard jockeys who troll forums without ever taking action, please, read another journal because the tips I share here are not for you.

Those BADASSES who constantly take action and who are constantly working on their game already have their pen and paper (or iPhone) ready.

Most guys fuck their text game up by making this fatal mistake: Too. Many. Words.

It gives the girl the feeling that you're "tip-toeing" around her, trying to be "nice," and we all know what happens when you seek approval from a girl.

She kicks your ass to the curb.

Don't get caught sending one of THESE texts:

Hey Sarah, I just wanted to text to say hi, and hope your day is going well. I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go to the Green Day concert tonight, it's supposed to be pretty good, and it's okay if you don't want to.

Ugh.

Instead, adhere to this rule:

Keep. It. Short.

Literally, for this exact scenario, I would send:

Sup gangsta, goin to Green Day concert tonight. Hit me up if you're in

Here's literally a text conversation I JUST had not 2 minutes ago:

I'm still in a relationship with Amanda, it's been 6 months now, and things are going great. She's telling me she loves me, etc. etc., and we've been pretty much doing everything but actual sex.

Ok, let's get down to the juicy inner core.

Health- Been making a bunch of "n00b gains" as they call it. When you first start lifting, you gain a bunch of strength real fast. I'm looking good in the mirror, when I went home for break everyone said I looked bigger. My goals for this semester:

200 lbs bench 3x8
3x15 pull ups
3x16 45 bicep curls
Squat a bunch more (just started)
Deadlift a bunch more (about to start)
Run 3x6 miles a week

Where I'm currently at:

170 lbs bench
3x12 pull ups
3x5 at 165 lbs squat
3x16 at 35 lbs curl
1x3 mile run per week

Goals for business

Email once every 2 days.

Email List / Facebook group- 200 subscribers
Sales- 100

Current-

Relationships-
Start planning a social event a week again. Been slacking off on this part of my life since so focused on work.
Things with Amanda have gotten slightly stale, but new life can always be injected in. I'm gonna try and spice things up here a bit.
Alyssa is coming back into town and wants to hang out. I'll probably hang out with her again, but strictly as a friend.
Met a couple new girls last week just from going out to a concert. Still got it, but a little bit rusty.

Nothing some practice wouldn't fix.

Going to practice more self-amusement, better state management.

Going to focus on better sleep and better diet. Amanda's been one of the reasons my sleep has tanked. She'll stay over, we'll fool around a bunch, and suddenly it's like 3 am.

Then, I'll just be exhausted. Going to put a limit on it, and put my foot down. Not going to hesitate to kick her out, even if it hurts her feelings. My health comes first.

Plan for today is to get a bunch of errand shit out of the way (getting better at writing these down and prioritizing them), and then to record and release a YouTube video.

I'm understanding more and more about YouTube SEO, and I've set up everything perfectly for the release of this video. I've got an idea that will help me rank better for my targeted keywords, and I'm planning on spending a couple hours tonight executing that idea.

I'm pretty psyched because if it works, I'll be able to rank really highly and get a SHITLOAD of traffic. Meaning a bigger following, more sales, etc. etc.

That being said, my PhD shit has been lagging. It's starting to ramp up, as this is year 2, and I'm supposed to get a proposal in pretty soon.

It's been a juggling act, and I've been pouring so much time into business that I'm pretty committed at this point. As soon as that shit starts producing a live-able income, I'm going to drop out of graduate school, much to EVERYONE in my life's dismay.

A daunting thought, but hey, this is MY life, and I'M going to go where I want to go.
