Dude, you need to fulfill your basic survival needs first before you fulfill your reproduction needs. It's part of your natural survival instincts to first focus on supporting yourself before you try to mate. How can you attract and mate if you can't even support yourself and live a basic human existence? Find a job to support yourself ASAP if you're in a tough financial spot and then focus on finding something that gives you more meaning and purpose.

Got a paper taped to my wall, notching off hours; got four marked off for video editing, already. No, Monsignor, I'm not that skilled an editor, yet, but at some point, I'll possess enough conviction to sell myself, or so you say, hustle, as a video editor, but I'm not there.

In any case, it's a start.

What skill are you talking about? Each activity I described above is available as a Youtube video tutorial. It won't take you 4 hours to do everything.

Makes you feel good that world is full of this defeatist crap doesn't it? kinda my whole point with my sig thread, there is just not much competition out there in life. It's like picking up gold off the floor and all it requires is just a little bit more effort than the average guy.

Half of these threads on the forum can be solved by a 30 second research on youtube.

Well, yeah.

I always get to be team leader on group projects at the university and it would have been so much easier to accomplish things if 3 or more people can actually work on the project instead of merely talk about it. Out of 8 members, 5 are all talk and no action. Same thing happens at the gym. Guys waste 80% of their time talking instead of pumping iron.

It's also the same in this forum. People love to talk (and verbally communicate) instead of taking action and nonverbally communicating what they have to say.

Okay; logged eleven hours, researching, and studying. Five job apps this week, per my weekly quota. Hurts that I don't have anyone to work with me, but I'm going for it. Many more hours are needed till this becomes a salable skill, but I'm climbing the mountain--stay tuned. Going to try and find someone on Craigslist that can talk to me, personally.

Downloaded the audio program Audacity, tonight; will work myself into a modicum of proficiency, with it.

Going to also start logging hours on a contest, idea, I've been working of.

No excuses, action, even if there's no immediate fruit.

Then message the people looking for video editors and perhaps tell them you will do it for free so you can build up a rep with your profile then charge a premium when you got all your shit together.

By now, your Camtasia Studio free trial license would have expired. I highly recommend that you move forward learning a bigger video editing skill set through Blender.

It's free software with no free trial expiration. However, it is much more complex and feature-rich compared with Camtasia Studio.
