I recently matched with a girl on Tinder who lives about 1/4 mile away from me. Things are great, we've been talking for 5 days, 3 days after matching we went out for a walk and it seemed to go well. Last night she was out for dinner and the flirting went up a notch on both sides. But when it came to action, she didn't seem interested. Now, I'm not sure whether she's playing hard to get, got scared or just isn't as interested as she's making out?

Last nights convo;

Me: Sent a photo of my carved pumpkin.
Me: You should feel special, I don't show many women my pumpkin (2 laughing emoticons)
Her: Hahaha. Oh really?;) I want to see more haha
Me: That kind of evidence doesn't come by photograph
Her: Aw really?

Her: Look where I am haha walking home
Me: Oh aye, passing right by mine too haha
Her: Soon
Me: So in womens terms, about an hour (laughing emoticon)
Her: Ha Ha I've passed it
Me: Why? Haha
Her: Haha what you mean why haha
Me: I thought you were going to come in haha
Her: Haha you never invited me
Me: Well I'm officially inviting you haha
Her: Haha now I'm home!!
Me: Oh well. I'm not exactly far away so the invitation is open, but if you don't want to come down that's no bother haha
Her: Haha. Will there be tea (2 laughing emoticons)
Me: There's always tea haha
Her: Haha sounds good
Me: I have coffee, alcohol and a massive pumpkin too haha
Her: I was just about to say and a pumpkin (4 laughing emoticons)
Me: See you soon then?
Her: Haha I can't be bothered walking down haha X

This is where I just didn't reply anymore, then about 30 mins later she sent a funny meme photo to change the subject I'm guesing.

Now the kicker here is that she's away in 3 days on holiday for 2 months, so that was probably the last opportunity before she's away. So if she couldn't be bothered then, I can't see why she would be bothered any other time.

You were very eager to invite her over. As soon as she makes an excuse back off and don't push it.

She still likes you but don't give your power away by trying to convince her to come to your place. You should word things a little different so the frame is that she is chasing you.

Her: Look where I am haha walking home
you: Stalking me! *LOCKS DOOR AND WINDOWS*
Her: haha bla bla that won't stop me
you: I have the kettle on if you wanna join me for a tea, BUT, you have to promise to keep your hands to yourself, okay?
Her: I promise bla bla

Or she makes another excuse if she isn't down. Then save it for another day, that night weren't meant to be.

Personally I would have dropped the joking and just invited her over from the time she said she was near your place.

Just because I'd want to know if she is coming over seriously or just continuing to joke. Later in the convo she sounds willing to come back (in joke) but she really wasn't. So I wouldve been serious and direct when asking her over to avoid confusion.

I think where I messed up and missed the chance was by saying "Oh aye, passing right by mine too haha", this was meant as "stop in", but I was probably not direct or obvious enough. "facepalm"

That being said the context of your texts is cool. Interaction was alright, aside from when you invited her over. Dragula laid it out pretty well on how it should've been done. All I wanted to add was my classy critique of impersonating a Disney character.
