Hey guys, so recently i have posted up a thread about this girl that kept staring at "me". If you haven't checked it out yet, i suggest you to go read it before going any further in this thread.

It turned out to be the guy behind me. I saw her one morning and the guy that sits behind me was standing a few feet away. She walked past the two of us and i heard her say to her friends " omg that boy back there is so cuteeee! ". I had a feeling she was talking about "mr.bitches" because she said it - after walking further away from him.

So now i'm feeling kind of sad. Because now, I know that she wasn't looking at me after all. Although she did stare at me from time to time, I didn't think it was anything special. The first time i saw her "staring", I promised my friends and I, that if i don't go for what i desire, I'll never succeed in getting a girl. Or anything at all in this world. So i had the mentality, of not giving a fuck. Just go for it and I'll eventually get better... hopefully.

I saw her walking past and i stopped her. And here's how the conversation went. Not that in the first conversation, i was nervous as hell!

Conversation 1:
Getting her attention. Me: Hey "her name"
Me : Can you just give me one second of your time?
Her : Sure
Me : You look pretty cute and i was wondering if i could get your number
Her : Sorry, i dont date.
Me : okay
Her : Yea sorry

****Note I stumbled upon my own words and I didn't get to say what i wanted to. Which was originally something like. She got out of a relationship one month ago
"Hey give me a second. My names Frankie, i believe you name is "blah blah"? I've seen you around a lot, and you look pretty interesting and unique. So i was wondering if i could have your number. And maybe from there we can talk a bit to get to know each other a little more."

Conversation 2 :
Me : Hey, can you just give me another second
Her : Okay sure
Me : So you said you dont date?
Her: Yea, my parents are strict, so i cant date
Me : Well i dont date either (lie, hopefully she knows)
Her : (smiled) okay...
Me : Alright here, so you put your number into my phone and I'll text you. If you don't reply, then I'll move on
Her : Haha okay
Me : Have a good day
Her : You too

As of now, i am confused as fuck. If i text her a simple "hi" and she doesn't text back. Its over. But if i text something unique, then MAYBE she will reply. Please help me out guys/girls

There is a whole host of issues here and quite frankly just outlining them one by one will never give you any depth of understanding.

My dude, if you want to play in the major leagues or even double-a-ball you have to at first learn the fundamentals.

You are posting to perhaps the premier "meeting women" (there, I just coined a new term for "pickup") forum on the internet, so there is a lot of great advice around this place: Have a look around and read some of the instructional stickies for a start.

Here are some things that I've noticed when talking to her. I've countered her line of "sorry I don't date" with "i dont date either" which made her smile and look at me weird. I've made her laugh but I'm not sure if that's from my action

Well, there's a lot of things I could point out but I suggest you read my texting guide. Most of it is already explained there.

Other than that, you can't be so outcome dependent. If you're having so much trouble starting the conversation, what are you gonna do when you have to actually sustain it? She's just a chick dude. Yes, obviously do not say "Hi", as that's simply boring as fuck. Yes you should be creative and fun, but not to impress her. Simply because it's.. well, fun. For both of you. Make it enjoyable.

And if she doesn't reply? Guess what? You move on.

Anyway, congrats on approaching. Takes balls to do it.

PS: I'd say she's at least intrigued by you. Don't try being something you're not. One of the most important things in this game is to 1. Be true to your desires, and 2. Learn to scan for compatibility. In other words, don't "play it safe" and don't try to mold yourself to fit what you think are her needs.
