So went out last night with two close friends. One who is single like me and my other who's in a relationship for about 6 years now. The one who's single is pretty good and chatting it up with women. My friend in the relationship get's a little weird and almost seems he prefers for us all to just hangout instead, which I understand. So yesterday we were at The Standard which is a solid beer garden, hotel spot. This beautiful girl sitting across from me sat down at our table with several friends. We began to small talk and flirt. My friend completely crashed my party and butt in pretty damn hard. It was kind of annoying. He then says "Let's roll guys." Seeming to rush out the place.

I'm not sure if he was able to handle the capacity of beautiful women around and us open to talk with them and potentially close, while he cannot do this as he has a girlfriend. He brings her up a lot as well during conversations about women and almost uses her to be able to get out of potential situations about women. He often compares and contrast women with his. Not sure what the deal is but it was kind of annoying. Plus that girl last night was so hot, but I didn't so we peace'd out "Bro's before hoe's perspective."

Hey man. I also face this a lot as most of my friends are (even less than) AFC. This usually happens when the guy feels "Uncomfortable" around women. I have some friends who would prefer to avoid the places to hang out where hot girls are in abundance (see that ? Its even worse).

So you can do 2 things:-

1. Tell them straight away how you feel and convince them to avoid this behaviour.

2. Do sarging at another time when you are with the kind of friends who support you in your game.

PS: Its even better if you keep those people in your life who's values are congruent to yours.

If you want to hang with friends then fine do that. But don't go out with friends if you want to pick up girls.

If you want to go meet girls then go out with one other guy who is good with girls himself, on the same wavelength as you and knows what he is doing.

If you can't find somebody else who is good with girls don't let that stop you and go it alone.

Yeah this is one of the best things about the this community. Finding other people that have the same goal and will not proactively cockblock/sabotage your shit.

Finding normal friends like that are hard to come by, not sure about other nationalities, but a group of lads in England tend to do what they can to have a laugh and ruin things for one on another. I am not ashamed to admit some of my best friends are community members.

Nip in the bud would be my advice. I mean literally say to him your behaviour is stopping you getting wit women, and spell out to the guy the way to behave when your're trying to run game.

I can kinda see both sides here. I mean, if I'm out with a regular friend and I start talking to a girl, I don't make it a long thing, hey, flirt...chit chat, I need to get back to my friend, phone number. That's if I know my friend is not the type who is out to talk to women, or he has nothing to do. Another thing is that actually having a friend sit there obviously alone while I talk to a girl, makes me look like a bad friend and that it must be a big deal to talk to a chick. Actually keeping it brief and going back to having fun with my friend has a stronger hook than talking for 30 mins and leaving my friend to look awkward. Builds some mystery I guess and tells her as hot as she is I'm having more fun with my friend.

That said, talk to your friend, tell him he doesnt need to butt in. But be considerate when you do go out with him. That way when you do need him to chill for a while while you take longer or are pulling a chick, it's not the 10th time he's waited for you to talk to a chick. Cut through the bs quickly...is she able to go home with you...No, then keep it brief, get your number and maybe talk to her again later. Better than running these 30 mins interactions going nowhere while your friend just waits.

No offence mate but I have had some British friends and they had no concept of values. They were nice cockblocks lets just say.

When i started to learn this, I realized that most of my friends were AFC's, and you don't have to take it too seriously, they don't know this, so don't blame them, instead what you should do, is what i did, i had this friend, that has the same goals as me, and he wasn't to bad with women, i mean, no that bad as a AFC, so i told him that i was learning this, and he started to learn it with me. Since then he helped me to improve my game a lot, because i had someone to talk about it, to go out, and to realize what a did wrong.

Thanks guys! All great responses and advice. I will totally be straight up next time. However, last night I didn't go out to pull chicks. It just so happens that women tend to be around and this particular one opened with me first. What was terrible I thought was that my other friend that was with us who is single was talking to a girl and pretty much gaming her and my other friend was looking at him and listening to what he was saying with this disgusting grin as if he was BSing. Haha, it was pretty bad.

I mean Idk if you've ever been to the Standard but there's beautiful women everywhere and I think he can't handle it especially being in his relationship of nearly 6 years and me and my other friend being single and open to talk with any women. AFC. sure I can see that about him and it really sucks. For anything if he decides to roll with us again he can wing us or my single buddy and I will take on the night.

Close friends are supposed to be the best wings.
