My question is regarding today. someone had brought chocolate and she took one and while she was unwrapping and eating it, she asks me "the chocolates are great. do you want one?" I said "I already had one. those are great, I wish I could eat them all" she said "you could" and I said "no, I don't want to get fat"

the moment I said fat, she looked taken aback. It's hard to describe the reaction unless you see it. her body literally moved, like she was given an electric shock.

I didn't mean to offend anybody...I just forgot girls hate the F word.

what do you think? am I over analyzing this? will she forever hate me? next time I see her will it be awkward? should I apologize? should I act like it never happened?
