There's a cute girl in the local cafe that I sometimes pop into at lunch time to pick up some food. I haven't really done anything except smile, good eye contact and a nice "how are you?" and she opened me and said "haven't I seen you before somewhere?" and then another time she invited me to see her DJ at a club, I couldn't make it cos I had arranged to see another girl the same night. By now I should have got her number but I haven't and only due to shyness.

I'm kinda wondering what I should do next time I go in there. Should I neg her cos I did hear through my sister that her DJ'ing wasn't that good and she also reminds me of Velma from Scooby Doo so I could say that she must have seen me at the Scooby Doo convention.

Or do I DHV her somehow?

Yeah I get where you're coming from. I didn't really phrase this properly. She's hot and she knows it but it's really her bobbed hair cut that reminds me of Velma's or even Ugly Betty's come to think about it. That's about the only resemblance and the body is probably more like Daphne's. So I'm kind of thinking of this as a neg. Oh I would definitely go for Daphne myself too in the cartoon world.

The next time I went in there she said she was going out for her birthday next week and she'll let me know which day, but the last time I went in there she was in a bad mood and said she'd had enough of the job and being friendly to people and I walked out AFC style with my tail between my legs.

My bro, hopefully you didn't neg her. Negs are used to confront a girls a bitch shield, and since she opened you and was already interested you have no reasons to neg. Basically she was down, so all you had to do was convey some IOIs of your own, lay on c&f to display your funny side,build comfort and bed her. Calibration is key, don't be so hardpressed that you make yourself follow every detail of mm, when you are already in the advanced stage.

Next time, when you see her act as if everything is no big deal. Only bring up the last time, if she brings it up in conversation. Instead focus on setting up a time bridge with her, after she has conveyed to you that she still can be that cool girl who you first met.
