Hello everyone,
Currently i am experiencing this situation:
A very hot girl from my university i think i might have seen around, but have not actually met yet, sent me a friend request on FB today.
I am not sure on how to follow through here and what to look out for.
My first thoughts were:
- Add her, open through messaging without any previous contact with her.
- Not add her yet, write her something such as "Hi.. i'm sorry, have we met before"? And start a conversation from there, which would lead to me accepting the Friend request and following a meet&greet
- Or ignore the friend request completely, and wait for an open in Uni.

These were just some thoughts going through my head..

Could anyone give me a little push on how to start this situation, and maybe also on how to follow through?

Add her.

Wait a day to see if she messages you. If not you message her.

Although I never did this, you could try that second option, where you don't accept the request right away and just send her a message along the lines of what you said.

I mean, think about it for a moment... what message does your message send?

- You'll come off as a challenge;
- You'll seem more interesting than the other guys who either abuse the "like" function or accept her 2 miliseconds after she sends the request;
- And most important, you've just started a conversation without any sort of pressure. Even better, the pressure is now on her side!

I'd say go for it man. Maybe someone has already tried that and can tell you how it went, but this is just my two cents.

Cheers mate!

Hopefully we can consider the benefits of not doing things that other people have never tried themselves...

I'd wait a little to accept them message her asking if you've met. Because I'm sure your unis big so it's probably not coincidence that she's friended you
