Hello! I recently was introduced to Neil Strauss's The Game(very interested in psychology) and was intrigued about PUAs. I'm 17 and have never had anything more than holding hands or hugging with a girl as friends (lame...yup). I mostly credit this to me just not wanting anything more, but now my life is kind of in a dull moment and I really want to be social and what not(I've been an introvert for most of my life. Wanting to break out of my shell ).

Most of my conversations with people tend to die quickly and create an awkward moment until one of us can find small talk. Will this get better with practice?

Also, I was wondering if tactics in The Game and The Mystery Method are outdated or old, or what I should take away from these books.
