Hey everyone.

I'm Burr and I just learned about the pickup community after a friend recommended reading "The Game" by Neil Strauss. I found that that book was more of a story than a guide, and it made me very curious about pickup tactics. Not to mention envious. I've always been the type to become easily bored with the way I am living my life. I don't have enough stimulation. I love women, but I don't know enough of them. Life is short and it's getting shorter every day.

I was not very good with girls, early in life. Really, I could have had sex at least five times by now but I never saw the signs that now seem so obvious to me. Not even subtle ones. They were no-brainers, really. One girl in high school literally grabbed my crotch. I giggled and scooted out of the door. Pathetic.

I'm a virgin, sure, but I've made out with a few chicks. Most were sober. I've gone on a some dates and had a few girlfriends, but never for long. I can talk to strangers, even strangers that are attractive women, but my conversation is boring. I hate it and she hates it, but I can't think of anything else to say. Not from nervousness, from stagnation. I'm bored with my life and I'm bored with where I see it going. I am a twenty one year old computer science student in Newport News. I am surrounded by hot chicks all day. I am friends with a few. I've kissed a few of a plainer ones, but I'm not the man I could be.

I'm sick of saying the same old bullshit. I want to freshen my game up and freshen my life up.

You can only become the man you really want to be (if you really want it) by grabbing your balls and start talking to women. Only you can change your lifestyle, no one will ever do it for you. Sure people can give you inspiration to get you on your feet but the main stuff is in your head bro. You can even use openers on other males if you strictly want to work on having "non-boring" conversations to have something to start off with. Many people feels like it's easier. Else, just check around the approaching and opening forum for now and you'll find some stuff that will suit you perfectly.
