when ever I am with a girl or anybody and I stand up for myself. I get called a baby or bitch or something in that in that area.. Example: I went on a date with a girl and she was on her phone the first time I told her how I don't like when people are on their phones while on dates unless it's an emergency. I think it's rude. she agree but kept pulling out her phone back out and texting her friends, on Instagram or whatever. I told her i'm done and thank her for her time but didn't think it was going to work. she got angry and said " I didn't know you were such a baby". this seems to happen every time. even with my parents. Does this happen to you guys ? how do you handle it ?

Of-course it happens.

It's an ego counter measure. People don't want to be critiqued.

Can't answer your question specifically but here's my mindset in general. If I'm on a date, I know my purpose. Either I'm honestly trying to get to know a girl, or I'm just trying to fuck her. If it's the first and she is on the phone.. I walk. If it's the second.. I just escalate. She can be on her phone all she wants. Know your purpose before the date. If you just want to fuck and she isn't talking.. Great because that makes it easier.

It seems to me either you weren't firm enough the first time, something was wrong with your delivery in your initial request, OR you give too many "chances" without walking away. If you said so once and then walked away would be fine, but if you said it 5-6 times then it may simply be too many.

This case may be totally different, however. I'm just speculating. You did the right thing by demanding something and walking away when your expectations weren't met.

I pretty sure I was! I ask her to put the phone down because I consider it really rude on a date....she said I agree I was just finishing up a text to my friend. I gave her another chance and after that I walk away. she was pretty nasty about but ask for another chance but I said no.

Plus I learned that I am not a one night stand guy.. I like to have a connection with the girls I sleep with. so I take all dates seriously.

but it's not just with girls it's every time. I had an issue with my parents and tried to talk to them like we were adults but instead they decided to yell and cuss. I told them it was disrespectful and all we had to do was just talk and figure everything out but they continue to yell and cuss at me. I told them I'm done trying to work things out anymore because I'm not receive mutual respect and walked away. My mom said "when did you become such a cry baby."

I have multiple examples of me standing up for myself and just being called sensitive or something.
What am I doing wrong ?

You're not standing up for yourself, you are throwing a tantrum. You know how you stand up for yourself if a girl is on her phone the whole date? You never call her again. If someone upsets you, there is an appropriate way to react, and that is by stating directly and honestly that you do not like waht that person is doing. You don't raise your voice, you don't curse, you don't threaten, and you don't act childish.

Shame some people are answering in a way that suggests you are doing the right thing.

Response; "How are you going to earn it?" With a grin that says you already know.

If your parents are the kind of people to yell and cuss at you then this may be part of the reason you have issues dealing with women. Lord knows that's a reality this forum doesn't want to deal with. If your Mum told you, as a grown man, that you were a fucking cry baby, then she's a bitch. Take that shit seriously. That's what I've been doing. We allow people to exercise control and to set the frame in our lives, and parents are the first in line to do that, but they set the tone for us allowing many people to control us. Perhaps you are acting like a baby. Perhaps the phone thing isn't as big a deal as you're making it seem and that's why people react the way they do. But your parents shouldn't be disrespecting your autonomy. No one should be disrespecting your autonomy. Get that straight and determine that you will stand on your own two feet. You are the only person you can truly depend on, from cradle to grave, so learn to love yourself, and learn to treat those who cross you with the utmost hostility. Personally I'm looking forward to a situation where I can address this rude-ass looking at the phone when you should be interacting shit in as strong terms as I possibly can. I have no time for it. It's utterly ignorant, and I think I'm at the age where I take trends in society quite seriously. That's why I want to decimate people who think this is okay. Wouldn't blame you if you felt the same.

I never said I raise my voice or curse I don't threaten. I tell them clearly how I feel and then I leave the scene . I think you read what I wrote wrong. The people are being getting nasty with me. I am always cool and respectful and leave. when they call me a cry baby or something. I ignore it and them.

I don't think you did anything wrong here. Calling a girl out earns you super dooper man points. Or you can play a game like, 'the next person who looks at their phone has to buy the next drink' or something like that.

The reason she is calling you a baby, perhaps you're doing it in a tone that forces her defence mechanism to call you baby,

There is a difference between 'Hey stop being disrespectful wah wah wah' as opposed to 'Hey, boring you, am I? ;) ' If she continues, you can up and leave.

Now, personally, I don't mind the odd phone check, i always look at the time on my phone, I keep forgetting my watch isn't just a nice garment to wear...but if she is on SPAM like crazy, whilst you're mid conversation, I would call her out.

But I wouldn't with the quick phone check

yes my parents were extremely controlling as a child and walk all over me as if I were their personally slave my mom dominants my dad so I never learn how to be a dominant man from my dad. so I grew up as a people pleaser or women pleaser ( do whatever a women says). Now that I started pua and respect myself a lot more. I don't tolerate much.

The more I think on it the more I think it's the people and not me. I guess I need to surround myself with more positive and respectful people. the negative ones may not like me anymore but at least they will respect me

I don't remember the tone I had but I know I wasn't yelling. I did not say "you" so she wouldn't feel like I was pointing the finger. But I do like the Hey, boring you, am I? ;) ' It seems more laid back and easy
