Sup gents,

I hooked up with this popular girl when I was abroad for nearly a month which resulted in this sort of casual, open long distance "relationship" forming.

When I returned home she was all happy rainbows and ponies during our online correspondences, especially when we planned on her visiting me next month...until it got down to the actual planning. It's like she suddenly turned into this mega bitch when I asked if she could book her flight tickets beforehand because of my schedule. This was accompanied by the classical "taking hours and hours to respond even though she's always on her phone" cliche. This was completely out of the blue.

What started as "omg yes just tell me when you want me there and I'll be there" turned into "I don't knooooow I don't know what's happening these coming months I might be very busy." After two days of her aggressively avoiding the subject I may have gotten a little bit annoyed and the following happened:

Me: Waiting bores me. I'm assuming that you're not coming here then? <------- Cringe, come to think of it.
Her: You're getting bored? I'm sorry for the lack of entertainment, but you're concentrating on this topic way too much [she's sort of right, but I need to know because of work]. Just wait. And stop making assumptions. And you can always come here, just so you know.

I didn't reply back. Now breaking the bitch shield is one of my weak points, which is why I'm humbly asking you fine gentlemen for a suitable response. I'd love to have her come over. I did promise that I would visit her, but only if she came here first.

I do think you were being a little bitchy. There are ways to ask the questions you asked and point out problems without the attitude and without looking a little insecure (to my mind that is how it came across).
