i would just like to say that i have no problem approaching and i am not using peacocking as a crutch to approach sometimes i enjoy peacocking when im out with my friends and i amn't looking to pick up but have lots of fun im just looking for more ideas thats all but socially acceptable ideas not something weird okay

i just read the mystery method and it was okay but i want to be more of a natural but one thing i enjoyed from it was peacocking but i repeat the thought of going out dressed like a freak sounds crazy and i would never do it besides on a stag or Halloween .

i was trying to come up with good socially intelligent peacocking ideas

the headphones are the best they are just casual and a great lock in prop haha

here are some of mine :
a normal hat
headphones around your neck
dyed hair (credit adam lyons )
a christmas jumper or santa hat (around Christmas time)
a birthday badge
a funny tie or bow tie
glasses funny not jet black
a funny t-shirt

please give me some more ideas i would really appreciate it

Ain't nothing wrong with jazzing yourself up a bit for a little extra attention and self expression. Some of the most alpha male rockstars on the planet go extra dressed because thats just what they're into. It ain't my thing, but if you wanna do it go for it. You don't have to meditate until you levitate on air to reach some super state in which the entire world comes to kneel at your feet. Thats just ridicules.

Do what you want to do man. Just do it with class and confidence and it won't make a difference.

You definitely missed the boat on the whole "socially intelligent" thing....

Grow your hair out a bit and style it cool/sexy. Don't look like every other guy who just gets the 3 blade buzz cut or the "George Clooney" hair cut where you gel the top and buzz the sides. My hair is long and luscious. Sometimes I'll put it in a bun for a different look and that gets attention too.

Grow and style your beard. This works great for "peacocking" too especially because girls seem to be on a facial hair kick right now.

Dress sexy. Take this for whatever it means to you... But I'd rather you not dress like a goof ball wearing headphones, a santa outfit and some stupid glasses.

Hit the gym. As much as you and I hate to admit it... Girls like to look at and touch muscle. It won't be enough to get you laid... But it will definitely get some hands touching you so you don't have to work so hard.

That's enough to "peacock" unless it's like Halloween or something.... then you can bust out the goofy shit.

Peacocking to be funny is kinda lame in my opinion. I was guilty as the LED flashing belt thing back in the day...

Pocket squares and other classy garments are my thing these days. However, I kinda wear a hat to hide my balding head and it annoys the shit out of me when I'm in the zone and some frumpy girl launches it across the bar. I need to stick some razor blades around it...

Peacocking gives you attention, not attraction. The attraction comes from how you handle all the attention. So peacocking can indeed be used to your advantage, as long as you don't take it too far. I liked the comparison with rock stars above.
