| So here's the story. I'm 18, going into my senior year of high school, but also going into my 2nd year of community college as a full-time running start student, which means I don't even visit my HS, I'm strictly going to college. I've tried to pick up girls my age I'd say a dozen times in the past couple months, and almost all of them freaked out. Then I asked around, and figured out people thought I was 23/24 years old when they saw me. Then I approaching some girls my age again but when they got freaked out I asked them how old they thought I was. Always in the mid-twenties, so that confirmed why they freaked out, and when I explained I was in HS they were much more comfortable and laughed at the situation then we talked and everything.
Anyway, I came to a realization yesterday, that I'm actually not interested in any girl at my HS (I know pretty much all the upperclassmen) and that I have always been into more mature girls, and even the first date I was on was when I was in Junior year with a freshman at the local University. I'm decent looking, have started my own web design LLC from scratch, employ 4 people in 3 countries, and financially independent, etc. Not meaning to brag and I obviously don't tell ppl this in real life, my point is having that in mind I was thinking about going to my local University (not my community college) campus and doing approaches there, since I'm attracted to older girls. I think everything is worth at least a shot since I won't really lose anything even if I fail a hundred times.
My question is, in a conversation if I'm asking about her major, and she asks about mine, what am I gonna say? I know I have to say the truth, but should I leave out the part about high school and say I'm in my 2nd year of community college and going to transfer to a 4 year University (which is true)? Because I'm not even going to HS since I'm full time @ the community college. Also since I'm leaving the state this year I'm not really looking for a long term relationship, it's my last year of high school and haven't really done anything w/ girls & really inexperienced so I want to go out and meet new people and have fun. Any advice would be appreciated! Also, I've never done this at a university campus before, any ideas on what I should say after I open? I'm pretty great at opening, but am a terrible conversationalist so ideas on things to talk about would also be good, besides the whatdoyoudo's and interview questions and things like that ofc.
Many Thanks!
