interaction goes wrong and i have no idea why.

Was feeling down for the last few days.sick with a flu didn't leave my house for the last few days.i went out today.took a bus and a straight 10 sits behind me.i am in such a bad state,still feeling weak from the flu but am like fuck it i may never see her again si i open.we vibe i hook since she started asking questions.anyway the bus stops we alight and i ask for her number and she flatly refuses.i try to convince her by saying i may never see her again.i ask for her facebook instead and she says she is not on facebook.i was literally shocked since she seemed engaged.what did i mess up? Did i overgame?at once i pretended to have forgotten her name(i do that with the straight 10s) did that spoil my chances?

some girls will talk to you just to be polite because they dont want tell you to F off
or she was just a nice girl who talks to everybody.
just because a girl socializes with you that doesnt mean she is interested in you romantically.
i am surprised you didnt know this, even i know this.

It seems like this one is done. I wouldn't make to much of it.

There are those girls man. I've had a woman walk with me and talk to me for a whole hour. Laughing and joking, teasing, flirting, and everything before revealing to me that she was married when it was time for us to part. All I could really do was laugh it off. You'll encounter some interesting things the more and more you get out there. No need to analyze, just keep getting up.

If you run into that problem a lot escalate faster. It will force their hand and make them show their real intentions.
