Hello people,

Yersterday i was in a party with some friend. Suddetly a friend of mine wanted to introducing me to a girl. so i said to her <<Your name?>> and sie answer <<i am Mary>>. then i just said my name and i just smile and turn around. It's was akward. Some minytes later i open her again and i escalate with her.
But i would like to have some ideas what to say and how to react when you exchange names with a girl for the first time.
I am looking for something more funny and interesting that the ordinary <nice to meet u Mary, my name is... blablabla>

More often than not, the name is just a piece of data. Segue from the name to chatting with her about whatever. Hopefully you are working on developing your gift of gab.

You're actually asking for a good response to "hi my name is Mary"?

Be a normal person. Not a socially challenged guy who has watched too many RSD videos. How would you respond to "hi my name is X" if it was a guy?

The point is there's absolutely no need to even think about or consider/be prepared for something so trivial.

You don't have the say "nice to meet you", you can just jump into conversation. It doesn't hurt though. Theres nothing wrong with being cool. Everything doesn't have to be a show.

More important then saying your name is the way you shake her hand. I occasionally play with introduction, like guessing names etc. But in this kind of situation that wouldn't be appropriate, i rarely do it, when i feel that it would make it more fun, comfortable etc.

The thing that you should do is to REMEMBER the name, it can become useful later, as you want to make deeper connection, or in persuasion.

Just act normally, you don't need to do name exchange interesting - rather make time that you spend with a person interesting.

This is the only answer you need...srs
