Met a hot-ass Indian chick Saturday night. From India, accent and everything. God I love that.

She was with her male friend. I slid up beside them at the bar. She kept glancing at me and running her hand through her hair. I started chatting them up.

The male friend, also from India, was strictly platonic. Possibly gay. I was like "I gotta know -- is this your boyfriend?" Both laugh and profusely deny any romantic relationship to each other. The male friend goes off, definitely leaves us alone. The girl was giving me IOI after IOI -- when I said "I used to date an Indian girl, she was kind crazy" she said "well I hope you don't think I'm crazy!" She kept the convo going. Hardly a pause the whole time, but the convo only lasts 5 minutes max. No kino, no real flirting, just demonstration of mutual interest.

Bar time hits, lights go on, and I'm not going to hang around over their shoulders like impending doom (my boys already left at this point). She's clearly interested so I get her number on that high note and leave without further ado. As I walk home roughly 2:30AM, I shoot her a quick text "Hey it was nice meeting you, hope to see you again soon. -Tom"

She responds at noon the next day "Likewise Tom, I hope you had a great night!"

I was crazy busy all day Sunday, and I wanted to play a little cool, a little aloof, so I didn't get back to her with "I did! " or something like that.

It's now Monday evening. Again, busy as shit the whole day. She was on my mind today, but not enough to distract me. My next move will be a phone call, not a text. When should I call? Set the date?

Reading this - Her interest doesn't sound as "clear" and blatant as you believe it to be... But we weren't there.

You should have made a move while you were there, for starters... But call her up and chat her up for a bit. Be fun, be jovial. You've got the right idea...

Good job taking advantage of the approach invitation she gave you. It seemed like she showing you interest when you met her, but you could definitely taken it further, escalated and asked some logistical questions to see if you could have pulled that night. Speak with her again, be light and playful and ask what her schedule is like and set up a date when you both are free.

What do you mean by 'logistical questions?'

There are 4 questions you can ask throughout the set to figure out logistics.

"Who are you here with?"

"What are you doing after this?"

"Where are you staying?"

"What are you doing tomorrow?"

Asking them casually throughout the conversation will paint a picture of the possibilities on where to take the set forward for the full close or just number close and go into a different set.
