Hi guys,

I have recently had some epiphanies about my life, and have realised it is time for a change. Probably about 6 months ago, I stumbled upon a channel on youtube called simple pickup (any newbies out there should check it out) I was totally blown away about the kind of things those guys can do and how much fun they had doing it. Even though there channel was based on game, the principles can be applied to all forms of life and is a lifestyle choice!

The past 4 years of my life has mainly been focused on tertiary study and nothing much else. I have always been a shy guy due to my social anxiety. I have always tried to please my parents and maintain a good image within my friend circle. I haven't really been moving forward with my life in fear of what people would think if I failed. Having the mindset of not trying things, or I will do it later!

My parents have traditional Indian views when it comes to life in general, they believe in studying hard and getting a tertiary education, then building your career and saving towards a home and having a family.
Most of my friends don't game at all and aren't really pursing romantic relationships and a few who are, have quickly settled into a relationship with any girl who has given some interest. I feel like a lot of people in my life live well within their comfort zone, just like I have been, and are following the societal norms.

I am looking for someone who wants to join me to purse a whole new life style, going against the societal norms, taking risks & embracing failure, wanting to push themselves outside their comfort zone, going through the highs and lows of life and getting out of the complacent mindset. If that sounds like you or if you have been in a similar situation and have some advice, please reply.

Cheers,
Himel
