On the streets of Denver I was winding down on a fabulous night with my friends when I saw this girl on a street bench.

Up for doing some street game, I went and approached. Immediately, she said "Fuck off!" and then dropped her phone. Bending down behind the street bench I picked up her phone and said "Hi I'm DW." She said "Hi I'm Emily."

I leaned down so that I was on her level. I asked her what was wrong and just in that moment I stopped everything as my complete and total focus was on her. Totally in the moment she could feel my presence and that I actually cared. I could see it touch her, so I reached out holding my hand out for her.

She grabbed my hand and then looking down I could see her get all emotional. She got sad looking away from me, but holding my hand. Next she looked up at me and said that I was way too young for her, she said what are you like 20? And I said, "Nah more like 16."

She smiled and then the next test came. Some random dude coming from the street walked by, she got his attention in the effort to challenge me. Immediately he came over and started hitting on her since she gave him attention. She told him how she was too old for me, first I agreed, and then this dude agreed.

Next he tried more kino on this girl, when she resisted, he said come on he's way too young for you. She told him, "Get the fuck away from me!" Then she hugged me on the street bench leaning all the way into me, she asked me if I would like to smoke a bowl at her place. I said sure.

We walked back to my car, her talking about her problems and being kind of drunk. Long walk and then finally we got there after I drove. At her place we made out and then she rolled around on the floor extremely drunk with her cat. I decided against the close and took off.
