Hey all,

I'm new here and need some advice. I would appreciate all of your responses!

I met this girl last night and was extremely confident in my approach. Long story short I got a number close, and I'm really into her! Texted her this morning and managed to get a first date, which is two weeks away because she's busy till then.

Anyway, I just wanted some advice on what to do to keep the excitement level up until then? Should I text her, and if so how often? Like I said I'm really into her and would like to make it work.

Unfortunately you're never going to see this girl on a date ;/

We are all busy. If she was into you, those plans that she had, how busy she is means nothing because she would be glad to drop them for you. Work on attraction and comfort mate. Text her for practice, but that's all it will lead to.

She basically said she could only do Saturdays because of work, and Saturday she is going for a friends birthday party. I'm sure she couldn't just bail on that for a date with a stranger.

I hope everything goes well and you manage to get the date.

HOWEVER

Don't put your eggs in one basket. Women will often change their mind because they have something more important coming up. Next time, schedule something for earlier than 2 weeks down the road. In the meantime, approach other women, and make plans with them. You don't want to have put your dating life on hold for two weeks only for this girl to flake.

In the future,

Make sure you set up your dates at the max 3 days in advance. Theres a whole lot that can happen in two weeks that can interfere with this process. Its a weekend and that leaves a long time for something to come up.

How much rapport was built with the girl? How long did you guys speak for ? Was there any real connection established?

Frequency of texting is my bread and butter. I don't schedule dates that far out because of flake rate.

Longest I'll schedule a date is a week out and even then it's difficult to lockdown because life happens and other things come up for the girl. Always try and close her the first time you meet her when logistically possible (It's more logistically possible than you currently believe)

2 weeks out, message her Sunday asking how the friend's bday was, a few messages back and forth. Make sure she is the one to send the last message. Then message Wednesday. Then Friday. Then Saturday. Confirm on Wednesday that Saturday is happening. Then based on time of date, confirm on Friday or Saturday. If before 2pm, confirm date on Friday. If after 2pm, confirm date on Saturday.
