Well I think he was just expressing the law of effort and results. You get a result equal to the effort you put in. Online dating is much 'easier' than going cold approaching and therefore it's much 'harder' to get

Me personally I think face to face is easier but that's from my experience in comparison to online. Also where I work. ( it's full of good looking people, both male and female) I see with my own eyes how much the girls get hit on. I've rarely heard or seen a girl hitting on men where I work.
