I made another post about going out with an old friend tonight, but I forgot to ask a few simple questions: Should I offer to pick her up or should I just meet her at the bar? And... Should I suggest getting some food before we go get drinks, or would that make me sound too "needy"? It's been about a year since I've seen her and we were both married at the time, but there was always an attraction between us. I know these are small details, but I'd like to get some good feedback so I don't make an AFC mistake!

I could have ask on the original thread, but I forgot to do it initially and I didn't know how to go back in to add it. We just agreed to have drinks. We never specified when or where. I'm going to call her shortly to set all that up. I just didn't know if it might be pushing it to ask her to go to dinner AND to go get drinks afterward(since I haven't seen her in so long, and I'm not quite sure where we stand)

Sounds to me like you need to just grab a quick bite to eat without her and just meet her for drinks at the spot. You're over thinking this a bit too much.

Its one date, with one girl. IF it doesn't go well... Who cares? You're life was fine before this and it will be fine after this.
