Hi, Recently I have started using tinder and got some matches. Tried to open with text but no help. I am trying to identify what I am doing wrong. What do you guys use for opening on text?

I used following opens:
Girl1 was an entrprenuer
Me: Hi [name], I appreciate people who are into entrepreneurship but your profile doesn't tell much. I would like to appreciate you more. What's you all about?

Girl2 had some fun description in profile
Me: Ninja, Size xxx costume, adventures, snow boarding. Loving the scent of it all. Are you really that much into passion?

Girl3 mentioned "crickets" as tagline on her profile
Me: I love lady who is into cricket. Wait, are you talking about the sport or the insects?

Girl 1 & 2: Too soon to be bringing appreciating and passion into it.

Girl 3: Very corny. Very obvious.

There really is nothing wrong with a "Hey " on Tinder... in my experience girls that don't reply to a "Hey" are the ones who just want to see how many matches they can get for some self-validation. Although interestingly enough I did have a conversation from "Hey" with a girl whose profile explained 'Got a boyfriend, just here for a joke'... Sure... a joke.

I'm not a big fan of Tinder but best interactions usually come from asking a question/making a comment about something in the background of one of their pictures as it suggests you're interested in what they do. If they start to respond with things like "lol" and "ok", call them out on it with a "I feel like you're not that into me haha" and you'll then speed up the process of meeting.

" damn girl.. you make me wanna knit both of us matching sweaters" - Works 6 out of 10 times.

ive been getting good success with question openers. keep it simple like;
'skittles or m&ms?'
'coca cola or pepsi?'
'ice cream or ice lolly?'

use one or two then 'well now the important questions are outta the way....'

i used to use another addition to this way which had mixed responses.
if they answered 3 questions would use;
'congratulations!!! you have passed the initial induction stage!!! to advance to the next stage please type in your phone number followed by the # key'

if they respond negative or in between with 'hahaha thats funny!' or similar i carry it on with
'im sorry, the response you have entered has not been recognised. please try again after the beep...'beep!'

as i said i dropped the second part but the questions are pretty successful.
