Hey PUA community,

New member here and I really need the help of the more seasoned veterans.

My scenario:

I'm an American college kid on an internship in a medium sized SEA (South East Asian) city. Mind you, this place isn't Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur, so the nightlife isn't as thriving, plus I'm black and that makes it a tougher hill to climb with the local girls.

So I've been here for about 3 weeks and have just now been getting into the the expatriate community. Again, this place isn't Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur so the community is relatively small and full of older people (like late 30s to early 40s).

So last night, I'm at a networking event walking around, shaking hands and getting business cards and what not, then a relatively attractive, young, American lady comes up and introduces herself. We talk for about 10 mins and exchange business cards, it was still pretty early in the event and I kept things professional. Long story short, I didn't get to meet with her later as I left early, but I did follow up with her this morning by email. In her response she mentioned her firm and their business if I had any questions and also told me to "feel free to reach out if I just wanna catch up".

So my question: Should I respond to the latter "invite" and ask her out to a bar for this coming Friday (tomorrow) or should I give it till next week.

In the scenario I invite her out for drinks, I'd have to invite her through email which I think is pretty odd (I could ask for number over email then text her, but I feel thats just a long winded process). While this is a smallish expat community, I don't think I'll see her again unless I initiate the contact. She's one of the few attractive girls around her. The local women here aren't too fond of the black guys and the communication barrier makes regular pick ups impossible.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
