Hi guys!

I just moved to LA from the East Coast and am researching how to start learning pick up. It seems like there are a lot more coaches and resources here then where I was in North Carolina. I have started to practice with openers and am working on where to go from there.

Thanks for having me!

Any suggestions on local meet ups or lairs?

I post this on every introduction thread that I comment on, because of how much it changed my life:

Material that I consider essential:

1. Google: Corey Wayne Scribd (it's a book, read it 10-15 times, seriously, it's a fucking bible)

2. Youtube: Jason Capital

3. Youtube: Richard La Ruina

4. Go and buy How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie (it's not focused on pick up, but on general interactions, and will change your fucking life if you apply it, especially the way you talk to girls during approaches)

5. Infield experience will do the most for you.

Thanks! I have been reading and going out and things are going ok.

My question is with all the indirect game and conversation building when do you really express direct interest?

Also - what is with the industry and all the coaches charging $1,000 - $2,000 or more dollars a day to help students privately. It seems to take advantage of guys.
