About me:
I'm a brazillian who's grown up in Japan and now lives in São Paulo, Brazil. I'm 25, I'm just starting my carreer as a back-end web developer, I like to swim and would like to play my violin, some day. I'm 5 foot 10 and slim, with a dark straight hair. My English is far from perfect, so please feel free to point out mistakes in what I write, or to suggest a better word for what I said.
How I've gotten here:
To this day, I've had sex with 2 different women in my life. Both are my ex-gfs now. I was 22 when I lost my virginity. And, about 2 years ago, I've discovered that there was an underground community of men that share their knowledge about the art of pickup. I used to see this side banner ad in a porn website, that told me to "click here to discover this weird trick that will turn you into pussy-magnet" (or something like that). One day, I couldn't resist the curiosity and clicked on it; it directed me to the page that introduced me to the "TAO of Badass" (which I haven't read; I'm not adversiting, just telling a story).
I google'd about it, trying to find any comments or reviews from anyone who's paid and read it, and I found a PUA forum for brazillians (if you must know,
this is the forum). I also found some books about the pickup art; I'm currently reading my first of them, The Game by Neil Strauss. I do have an account in this brazillian PUA forum, and I expect to make friends there to meet and to go sarge with, but 1. I can tell they aren't experts in this art, 2. their material (books and videos) are very low-quality and mostly translated poorly from English, and 3. much of what they post is valueless and that doesn't seem to bother their moderation (so most of their postings are just stupid questions, "thank you" and messages agreeing to OP).
So, knowing that there had to be a better version of it in English, I google'd until I found you.
My goals:
So, I moved back to Brazil when I was 13, and I hadn't have much contact with girls until then, because I was in Japan. Moving back to here was a shocking experience in one sense, because people barely touched each other in Japan, and here in Brazil a kiss in the cheek is just a way of saying "hi" or "I like you".
So I was held back by my shyness for a long time, until I built enough confidence to turn into an average brazillian guy who gets laid less than avarage. Even though, I've had enough confidence to hit on this girl, Claudia (fictious name) and call her out. Kiss-closed, and a few weeks later, asked her to be my girlfriend. She is my most recent ex-girlfriend, we've been officially together for a year and a half, and we broke up in November 2014.
The reason why I took so long (2 years) to start studying pickup art after finding about this underground unniverse is because, when I found it, I was already seeing Claudia (though not officially dating yet). Now, she's broken my heart, I haven't got any since then, and I'm horny and would be great to meet a lot of random foxy girls, talk to them and know them, and then have sex with them. Specially to help me get over my ex, because I haven't yet and I still feel hurt.
I expect to learn a lot and grow in this community to also teach others, in the future. Because, by teaching, you also learn a lot from the other people. Sorry for writing a lengthy introduction about myself.
