I was interested in pick up from the moment I saw VH1's The Pick Up Artist. I read Style's
The Game and could not put the book down! Like a lot of AFCs, I did a LOT of reading on the subject but put almost none of it into practice. I put the game down for a long time to work on myself; to be more secure and grounded in who I am. I was in a series of LTRs that were unfulfilling and ultimately broke each one off.
Recently I decided I'm tired of waiting for the "right time" to have the things in life that I want. I quit my job, sold all my stuff, and moved abroad. I prefer not to say where for now
It's enough to say they speak pretty good English here.
I picked up the game again and am actually using the techniques for the first time. The results speak for themselves! I am still learning but I apply whatever I can to improve my game. I would consider my style to be a mix of PUA material and natural game. There is something to be said for my intuitions, but they definitely need fine tuning!
