I heard that when speaking to a women, you become lost for words because part of your brain shuts down. Does anyone know which part this is?

I honestly don't know. But RSD jeffy said in a post I read, that when that does happen, play "the 5 year old" to jump start it your brain back up. ex:

u:what kind of movies you like?
her:oh i like braveheart and mission impossible. what about you?
u: (brain shuts down) I like.. the ones that are beautiful / i like.. the good ones
her: haha what do you mean??
etc. etc. (brain starts working again)

It has worked for me, now I do it unconsciously. Hope this helps!

A quick google search can pull up that answer for you.

Its the sensorimotor cortex which is responsible for speech.

But as RC said.. Why does it matter?
