whats up guys? this is my first post on this forum...been reading stuff here and there but wanna get more into it so i hope you guys can guide me in the right direction. I'm not too good with approaching a girl but thats not to say i don't necessarily have the balls...i'll do it, but my main issue is what to say when i go up to her? and if i do have something to say and start off well, how do i keep the conversation going? i would say this is my biggest problem...to keep the conversation going...like what do i talk about? i think im a good looking guy, well groomed and i dress well...i'm 6'4 250 lbs, played fball in high school, did judo, light weights...due to injuries i got out of shape but i've lost A LOT of weight but still have that football player build...i try to work out when i can but with grad school there is not much time to do so....so i watch what i eat, etc....anyhow ok so this isn't a health forum so thats all i'll say with that..anyhow...WHAT DO I TALK ABOUT WITH THE GIRL?? lol that is my main thing...how to keep the conversation going and get her interested in me. alright so thats that for now...i hope to gain A LOT out of this and i hope you guys can help me out. later

Actually the problem is not to keep a conversation with a girl...but to have an interesting one with her.

If you can keep her interested, the conversation will mantain itself.

Thats why PUAs use routines like the cube, cold reading and (my personal favorite);palmistry.

Those give a good startup point, but are more useful in clubs and on parties, than in day game.

There are two things everyone loves to talk about; crime and sex. Why?

Because they involve strong emotions, and everyone can have an opinion about them.

Look at tabloids, why people wants to know about lindsay lohan being on rehab, or paris hilton going into jail? Because it involves these two key elements.

Im not saying you should talk about sex and crime all day long (would came out creepy), you should make your conversation interesting, both intelectually an emotionaly interesting, to appeal to a girl.

Also funny, funny is always good.

Its not easy to to become a good conversationalist, it requires a lot of work and practice. You can talk about anything and be interesting.

One thimg I do a lot, is to have a point about something, like comedians do, eg:

"What about those ringtones...they are so annoying....one time in my best friend's auntie funeral...this cell phone rangs...with a "La Cucaracha" ringtone"

Ok...maybe that one is not good enough...Im not inspired now....but it shows my point...It makes the girl laugh. and you can strat talking about related things. or ask her stuff, or start a routine. All this in order to keep the variety on the interaction.

My only advice is to practice, and to keep yourself informed, so you can talk about anything.
