So i recently started talking to this girl online, but the conversation hasn't really been exciting. I was wondering what advice you could give me? I tried reading as much as i could on the forum, and tried the "You're always on facebook" opener. but now i need the follow-up.. How should i continue the conversation?

I'm hoping someone will drop some words of wisdom on here for you but you need to have a game plan before beginning a conversation. Facebook was never my preferred method for meeting people online because most people are not there for that purpose. They are their to catch up with friends, family, and things of that nature. People go to dating sites for a reason, same way people go to Facebook for another reason. Not saying you can't meet and date people off of Facebook but it is a fair bit more difficult seeing as how they didn't join that site for that purpose.

The underlying problem is that you're focused on just this one girl... And not only that, but you're worried enough about it that you've actually created a thread about what to say next, when she's completely boring and uninteresting to begin with.

If she's so uninteresting and the conversation is going nowhere, why would you want to chat with her anyway?

More girls, more conversations. Have 10 of these going at once and then you won't be concerned with just this one boring unimportant girl... cause you'll have 9 others who are probably more interesting.
