| I actually chose my profession because I wanted to get better with people - I am a purchasing manager, the opposite of sales, and I am firmly convinced it has boosted my game more than any PUA book I've ever read.
In my opinion, it holds some advantage over sales, since not only will you be dealing with a lot of people, but you will have to learn to negotiate, provoke, gauge their real thoughts and, from time to time, be the bad guy. If you are anything like me, you would much rather be nice and likable (like a sales person, esentially) and thus, this will constantly keep you on your toes and out of your comfort zone.
But yeah, that's just my opinion. Of course, sales also have a load of advantages (on a personal and professional level) and will help you become an overall likeable person as well.
Any profession where you deal with a lot of people will probably help, although I prefer these two since
A- They are legitimate long term carreer paths
B- The interactions with your counter parts are of challenging nature, thus promoting your people skills growth
For less serious or side jobs, think something where you interact with plenty of people and preferably a fair share of women
- Club promoter
- Gym instructor
- Bar man
- Sales (like, in a mall or shop) _________________ 404 game not found
