If there's one secret magical trick in all of this, it's eye contact.

Eye contact is amazing. You look at a girl correctly and she will be receptive to you.
Word up. The hawk eyes (make both eyebrows do the people eyebrow) accompanied with a slight tilt back of the head and a smurk does wonders for me.

But if the guy doesn't react, then you look like a try hard idiot. If he gets grossed out then I would say you win.

Good post. Everything talked about here has an element of truth. Strong eye contact does not necessarily mean you are tough. I boxed for five years. I have the ability to knock people out, yet when I was doing a lot of boxing ten years ago, I struggled with eye contact. Today, even though I haven't boxed since 2005, I am much more alpha with my eye contact.
I learned eye contact when I became a pua in 2005. I learned that it's okay to give other men the stare. Most men will back down. The ones who don't back down, well, look away and move on. You're not always going to out alpha everyone. It's not always about who is the toughest. Sometimes it's about your position relative to theirs.
I remember watching Muhammad Ali on Johnny Carson when I was a kid. Carson totally dominated Ali with wit and humor, and for the first time in his life, Ali capitulated. He looked like a confused kid. You can do this in real life with tough guys who want to give you the business.
Also know that there is a time to back down and let it go. Sometimes getting into a battle with someone isn't worth it. It could cost you your job, or your life. And it doesn't always happen in the hood. In the video above, the crowd is fighting in a middle class neighborhood.
And after you have practiced manliness, it will start to become who you are. You will look at people confidently, and this will lead to less problems for you. And when the mean alpha tries to stare you down, you will confidently look at him, nod, look away, and walk away. The alpha will see with what finesse you backed down and will nod back in respect to you.
